When FaxZero is the better choice
For a fax of three pages or less to the US or Canada that isn’t urgent, FaxZero’s free fax costs nothing. Use it.
Its paid fax is also cheaper than FaxJet for 11 to 25 pages to the US or Canada, and it suits you if you prefer to pay with PayPal.
When FaxJet is the better choice
FaxJet is built for the fax that has to arrive. It fits better when:
- The fax is longer than 3 pages and up to 10: $2.99 instead of $3.29.
- It has 26 to 30 pages and should go as one fax.
- It goes to another country, and you want a full refund if it fails.
- You want to pay with a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
- Nobody else’s name should be on your cover page.
- You want to watch it go out and keep a receipt with a confirmation number.
Every price is on the prices page, country by country.
Moving a fax from FaxZero to FaxJet
FaxJet takes PDF, JPG, PNG and HEIC files. FaxZero also takes Word, Excel and other formats, so save those as a PDF first: in Word, Pages or Google Docs, export or save the document as a PDF.
If you used FaxZero’s cover page, make your own with the free fax cover sheet maker, or switch on the cover page in the sender and type the note there.
Questions
Is FaxJet free like FaxZero?
No. FaxJet has no free fax; every fax is paid. For one short fax to the US or Canada, FaxZero’s free fax is the cheaper choice.
Is FaxJet cheaper than FaxZero’s paid fax?
Up to 10 pages to the US or Canada, yes: $2.99 against $3.29. From 11 to 25 pages FaxZero is cheaper ($3.29 against $4.99). From 26 to 30 pages only FaxJet sends it as one fax.
Do I need PayPal?
Not with FaxJet. It takes cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay through Stripe, and never sees your card number.
What happens to my document?
FaxZero says it deletes the content of a fax within three days and keeps the sender’s email and the number. FaxJet keeps the document until you delete it, which you can do from the tracking page at any time.
Does FaxJet put anything on my cover page?
No. The cover page is optional and carries only what you type, with no branding or advertising.
Can I fax to another country?
Yes, to over 240 countries, from $3.99 depending on the country and the page count, with a full refund if the fax can’t be delivered.
